Job DescriptionLocation: Cupertino, Culver City or New YorkSchedule: Remote, onsite as neededPay: Up to $84.40/hour DOEBenefits: Health, Dental, Vision and morePlanet Interactive is looking for a UX Writer to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract with the potential to go longer. This role will work 40 hours per week and can be done mostly remote but you are required to be local to one of the companies business hubs.In this role, the UX Writer will be writing for product experiences and the client is looking for someone in the commerce and subscriptions space.UX Writer ResponsibilitiesWork on end-to-end feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education.Take complex systems and break it down into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy.Shape the tone, language, and design systems for product experiences.Develop projects from scratch or edit existing copy/ language.Contribute to style guides and shared nomenclature.Work with product designers to understand areas of opportunity and how to solve those challenges.Take in feedback and work to improve the performance of the content required.Work cross-functionally and with leadership to push the product forward as well as spend time with QA and Localization to ensure the content fits for the proper audiences.Work closely with legal teams to ensure that language and content is within policies and procedures.Uphold best practices for privacy and security as content is developed.Create and present presentations to team members and internal stakeholders.UX Writer Qualifications5+ years' experience within UX writing.Portfolio showcasing work around commerce, subscriptions, checkout flows.An interest and passion for the subscriptions space.Strong attention to detail.Bachelor's Degree.Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt for various audiences.
