Messer employees live where they work, resulting in the company's sustained commitment to building better communities.  We are currently seeking a Senior Superintendent to join the Operations team in our Columbus, OH region.What You Will Do:Support client, designer, subcontractor & vendor relationshipsImplement & drive our Zero-Injury Safety programUnderstand drawings, specifications, and terms/conditions of owner contracts and subcontractsDeliver built-in quality using our three-phase quality control processDevelop and maintain worksite logisticsDrive project schedule including day to day supervision and coordination of construction activitiesFacilitate daily Site-Wide Huddles and Plan of the Day MeetingsProactively monitor & control project costsLeverage construction management and project management systemsSupport the professional development and mentoring of Messer staffSupport the interviewing and hiring process, as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities, as neededWhat You Will Bring:10+ years of experience operating as a commercial construction SuperintendentAdvanced education, training or certifications in construction management disciplinesPreference for individuals that have experience leading projects in Science and Technology and Advanced Manufactuing.Demonstrable excellence in leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of contemporary construction technologies and systems (ex. AutoDesk Build, Procore, Phoenix, etc.)Proven experience utilizing contemporary construction process and project management systems (ex.
