Our client, a leader in the Logistics and Warehousing industry, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and optimizing material handling systems within sort centers, including conveyor belts and other key machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, and the ability to manage projects from conception to execution. ________________________________________ Job Title: System Operations Engineer Location: Hybrid, Nashville TN Pay Range: $65/hr. - $68/hr. Contract: 11 months ________________________________________ What's the Job? 1. Design material handling solutions, such as conveyor systems, within sort centers based on facility requirements. 2. Develop site layouts, conduct project scoping, and coordinate RFPs with vendors. 3. Collaborate with vendors for site selection and facilitate engineering design through execution. 4. Retrofit or rearrange existing equipment to meet evolving facility needs. 5. Travel up to 50% to conduct site visits, gather requirements, and oversee installation and handoff. ________________________________________ What's Needed? 1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing). 2. 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial design. 3. Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. 4. Strong project management skills alongside technical design capabilities. 5. Proven hands-on design experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (e.g., automotive, warehouse systems, industrial equipment). ________________________________________ What's it in me? 1.
