Job Summary: Looking for an opportunity to grow in your career in Construction Management? Don't have all the experience you need to support this role we are willing to train.As the Safety and Training Manager in the Mechanical Commercial Contracting industry forHVAC and Air Filtration, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeingcomprehensive safety programs and training initiatives. Your role will focus on ensuring a safeworking environment for all employees, compliance with industry regulations, and fostering aculture of safety and continuous learning within the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety and Health,Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)) are preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the Mechanical HVAC industry however not required.In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices within theHVAC industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, train motivateemployees at all levels. Professional presence and confidence in delivery of training. Proven ability to analyze safety data, conduct risk assessments, and develop effective safety programs.Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.***Overnight travel 2-3 nights a month, Travel between Wilmington, Raleigh, Greensboro and client sites.Key Responsibilities:Workman's Comp Review, manage and audit experience Negotiate insurer renewal Annual audit review Claims management all phases  Safety Program Development:Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures inalignment with industry standards and regulations. Qualification and Bid DocumentsConduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards andensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.ISNet complianceTraining and Development:Design, develop, and deliver safety training programs for employees, includingnew hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Safety meetings 4 per month Ensure training materials are up-to-date with current safety regulations and best practices in the HVAC industry.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustmentsas necessary to improve outcomes.Compliance and Reporting: OSHA training Ensure the company's safety practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Hazard identification decision making Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and inspections. Prepare and present safety reports and analysis to management and regulatory agencies as required.Incident Management:Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identify root causes, andrecommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement changesbased on incident findings.Safety Culture:Promote a culture of safety and awareness across the organization by engagingwith employees and encouraging their participation in safety initiatives. Score keeping and performance, site inspections Organize and lead safety meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns. Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other department heads toensure safety and training needs are met.Act as a liaison between the company and external safety organizations,regulatory bodies, and training providers.Comprehensive Benefits, PTO, and 401K
