The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximize member value, recruitment, engagement, and satisfaction. This includes overseeing membership, communications, marketing, and business development functions, as well as driving initiatives to deepen member engagement and loyalty. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and other teams to ensure that the Association delivers exceptional value in line with its mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a CAE preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' of experience in association membership management, marketing, or a related field, including at least 7 years' in a senior leadership role. The role requires a strategic and creative thinker with a deep understanding of associations and the secondary education industry, committed to member-centric innovation and evolution. The CMO will also be expected to have experience in managing a P&L of $25 million and large staff management. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally, is essential.
