As an Estate Care Specialist at Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd. you will play a pivotal role in proactively engaging with consumer representatives to resolve outstanding account balances with compassion and care. This role requires professionalism, tact, and empathy, and is great for individuals who naturally believe in helping others. Among other responsibilities, you'll primarily be involved in: * Interacting with authorized individuals empathetically and professionally, ensuring fair assessment of estate circumstances and facilitating timely payments. * Assisting and mentoring consumer representatives throughout the estate and succession processes, providing invaluable support and expertise. * Managing file queues meticulously, adhering to regulatory guidelines, company protocols, and highest standards of customer service. * Meeting and exceeding departmental goals and activity metrics, consistently achieving high standards in quality assurance. *WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?* * Starting rate of $20.00 / hour plus monthly bonus opportunities. * _Salary Accelerator_, granting salary increases in the first and second year of employment. * Access to PCA's _Global Career Path_ for employee development. * Competitive benefits package which includes Medical, Dental & Vision. * 401k program with PCA matching part of employee contributions. * Short-term & Long-term disability insurance + company sponsored life insurance. * Paid Time Off. * Casual dress code, Jeans are ok! * Free Parking. *WHAT IT TAKES TO BE AN IDEAL CANDIDATE.* * High school diploma or equivalent. * Customer service and/or call-center experience. * Computer proficiency, including Microsoft software applications, the ability to multi-task across multiple applications, and navigate between multiple screens, etc. * Assertive, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to adhere to a regulated and structured work environment, including reading scripts. * Customer-service-focused with sensitivity to individuals experiencing grief and loss. *BALANCED WORK SCHEDULE.* Although schedules may change from time to time as business and/or client needs evolve, schedules generally have the following structure over a 40-hour work week: * 2 Days (Monday - Thursday): 8:00 AM - 5:00PM * 2 Days (Monday - Thursday): 12:00 PM - 9:00PM * Fridays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM * One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM - 12:00PM To be eligible, candidates must be able to attend mandatory in-office training Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm through the probationary period. *OUR COMMITMENT TO FLEXIBILITY.* To promote work and life flexibility, PCA has implemented a hybrid work policy. Colleagues are required to work onsite from a PCA office location full-time for the first 4-months.
