Our client, a high-profile aerospace company, is seeking a PCBA Technician to join their team. As a PCBA Technician, you will be part of the development team for a large satellite internet constellation to provide low-latency broadband connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a certification in IPC soldering standards, 4+ years of experience in PCBA modification and wire harness fabrication, expertise in J-STD space applications, and ideally a background in aerospace manufacturing to align successfully with this organization. Job Title: PCBA Technician Location: Redmond, WA Pay Range: $36/HR on Experis W2 What's the Job? Assist the development team in the development of a large satellite internet constellation to provide low-latency broadband connectivity Perform PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for the aerospace industry Perform PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics Use common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.) Review and develop written instructions, document work performed, and follow up with engineers and management as needed What's Needed? Current or recently expired certification in IPC soldering standards including 7711/7721, J-STD, and J-STD Space Applications 5+ years of experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for the aerospace industry Preference for aerospace manufacturing Experience with PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics Experience with common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.) Proven track record of delivering results on time Experience supporting the development of space-based systems Strong communication skills with the ability to review and develop written instructions, document work performed, and follow up with engineers and management as needed Degree or certificate in related field preferred What's in it for me?
