Accounting Associate

Our client, in the Healthcare industry is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their team. As a Accounting Associate, you will be part of the Accounting department supporting Finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, adaptable and passionate about making a difference!  Job Title: Accounting Associate Location: Charleston, WV Pay Range: $20-$24 What's the Job? Accumulates, audits, processes, and maintains detailed accounting records for each respective subsidiary ledger, account, or entity which accurately reflect its financial position, to include resolving discrepancies. Assists with the preparation of all financial transactions, analysis, statements, reports, tax forms/returns, etc. and resolve discrepancies in time to meet internal timelines Compile accounting information for various audits and respond to audit (internal or external) inquiries in time to meet audit timing requirements. Independently operate and evaluate computer applications, tools and interfaces required to record, store, analyze and report information.   What's Needed? Associates Degree in Accounting or related field 5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, accounts payable and treasury can be substituted for education What's in it for me?
