Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! •    POSITION SUMMARYPerforms janitorial and cleaning activities within established guidelines, assigned areas and shift(s) to ensure that quality standards, and safety guidelines are met.The Day Custodian is responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule.Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.The Day Custodian performs a variety of tasks, such as dust mopping and damp mopping floors in all areas including entry ways, stairwells, corridors, cafeterias, multipurpose rooms, auditoriums, etc., is responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms including sinks, and floors. •    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning of 1st floor lobby, and performing spot cleaning throughout their shift.The Custodian is expected to inspect all bathrooms and restock/clean if necessary.The Custodian is expected to clean glass along their travels in elevator vestibules as needed, and clean water fountains on each floor.   #LI-Onsite   EMR USA Metal Recycling provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. *E-Verify is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
