Are you a current student in Advertising, Marketing, or Business looking for a unique intern opportunity? If so, our Lamar Corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is now hiring a new Programmatic Intern to provide support to the Programmatic Team. What you can expect from us: This is a part-time, paid internship. The hourly rate is $15 / hour. Your schedule will vary depending on your school schedule between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Check out these videos: About Us Giving Back Program A day in the life: The Programmatic Intern assists the Programmatic Team with, but not limited to, the following: Work with external advertising and technology partners on campaigns including creative approval, inventory management, and post-buy reporting Assist with the creation and planning of networks and campaign proposals to distribute to buyers Provide proof of performance (webcams) to clients Cross-department collaboration to compile collateral and research to distribute to advertising partners Participate in ideation and collaboration with the Programmatic team for website content and marketing initiatives Assist with lead generation and networking outreach to maintain our contact base Compile financial expenses for review and submission What we are looking for in YOU: Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Gmail and Google Drive applications is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and act on own initiative Education and Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required Concentration in Advertising, Marketing, or Business preferred Please note: Upon submitting your application, you will be asked to complete an 8-15 minute personality assessment. Physical Demands and Work Environment The primary work environment is an office. The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
