The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of audits through a variety of activities, including training, coaching, quality control reviews, and the development of firmwide audit and assurance practices. This role requires a professional with a strong background in audit and attest services, particularly within the banking and capital market industries, and experience with the accounting framework of ASC 946. The Partner will also be involved in the research, application, and implementation of technical accounting pronouncements, and will play a key role in driving audit quality and strategic initiatives for audit practices across the firm. Applicants for this Partner position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and a CPA. A deep understanding of professional accounting and auditing standards, including AICPA, PCAOB, and SEC regulations, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background with a Big 4 or national public auditing firm and experience in a national office setting. The role demands a professional who is adept at developing, implementing, and training on audit methodology, and who can work directly with engagement teams to resolve complex auditing and accounting matters.
