The successful candidate will be tasked with providing strategic leadership and oversight to the Foundation, with a primary focus on designing and implementing comprehensive fundraising programs to meet philanthropic goals. This role involves managing a portfolio of high-capacity donors, cultivating relationships, and securing significant and transformational gifts. The Executive Director will also be responsible for steering the Foundation's vision and strategy, and will work closely with the President/CEO to ensure the Foundation's activities align with the organization's mission. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the Foundation should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 6 years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in securing major gifts of $5M or more. The role requires the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CFRE, FAHP, or CSPG. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for philanthropy, capable of managing a small team and driving the Foundation's fundraising efforts to new heights.
