Vice President of Sales About the Company Innovative textile company specializing in high-performance apparel IndustryApparel & Fashion TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales, West with a strong background in selling and/or developing apparel raw materials or apparel within the outdoor, active, lifestyle, workwear, and tailored brands. The successful candidate will be the primary customer contact and leader of all North American sales for the West Coast, with a focus on understanding brand needs, nurturing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires the creation of strategic plans to grow and nurture business, as well as the ability to travel and attend global trade shows. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in customer advocacy, be adept at escalating and addressing issues, and have a deep knowledge of the textile supply chain, product development process, and fabric end-uses in apparel. Applicants for the Vice President, Sales, West position at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' experience in a relevant field, with a background that may include fabric mills or manufacturing sites. A thorough understanding of the textile industry, including fabric and end-uses in apparel, is essential. The role demands a candidate who is comfortable working with large customer organizations at all levels and can bring existing relationships to the table. Proficiency in customer communication and prospecting tools such as Outlook, CRM, and LinkedIn/Sales Navigator is required.
