The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including the onboarding and maintenance of trading documentation for the company's funds and managed accounts. This role involves facilitating the onboarding process with counterparties, supporting ongoing trading documentation activities, and negotiating and updating various trading agreements. The Executive Director will also be the point person for understanding regulatory changes and their impact on trading documentation, as well as working with custodians to set up and maintain custodial trading accounts in emerging markets. Applicants for this role at the company should have a JD with an active license to practice, at least 10 years' of relevant industry experience, and extensive knowledge of trading documentation from a buy-side perspective. Experience in negotiating a variety of trading agreements and a strong understanding of financial products, markets, and risk management practices are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with asset managers, hedge funds, mutual funds, and other regulated funds, and familiarity with KYC/AML diligence requirements is a strong plus. The role requires a high level of intellectual curiosity, integrity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are also key attributes for the role.
