Global Vice President of IT Applications & Architecture About the Company Globally-recognized chemical manufacturing company IndustryChemicals TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Global VP of IT Applications & Architecture to lead the organization's IT Applications function and actively participate in the architecture and deployment of strategic IT/OT convergence and business transformation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence through the simplification, standardization, automation, optimization, and security of global IT systems, including ERP (SAP), HRIS, manufacturing execution systems, digital control systems, industrial control systems, and various other business-critical applications. This role involves leading and inspiring a large team of IT professionals, managing global IT standards, and overseeing the budget for IT projects and expenses. The VP will also act as a technology partner for both IT and business teams and must have a proven track record in leading business transformation initiatives, managing application-managed services outsourcing partners, and a broad understanding of key business functions. Applicants for the Global VP of IT Applications & Architecture role at the company must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing IT teams, with a strong background in SAP ERP solutions and a history of working for global organizations in the chemicals, mining, or oil and gas industries. The role requires a collaborative management style, an excellent understanding of current and emerging technologies, and a proactive, change-oriented approach. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, with a Master's degree being a plus, and the candidate should be prepared for international travel as needed.
