The CFO will be responsible for overseeing and directing the accounting and finance team, strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting. This role involves regular liaison with auditors and maintaining a positive relationship with state agency personnel. The CFO will also be expected to provide the CEO with up-to-date financial information, engage with the Board of Directors, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a BS in accounting or finance, with an MBA or master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Director or CFO within a philanthrophic organization is required, along with experience working with DCF, DMHAS, and DSS. A CPA is a plus. The successful candidate will be adept at financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, and will have a proven track record of leading and managing a financial team.
