Tax Partner About the Company Top-tier CPA firm IndustryConsumer Services TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Tax Partner with a strong background in real estate limited partnerships, C and S corps, fiduciary, and high net worth individual tax. The ideal candidate will have a current CPA license, with a JD or a Master's degree in tax being a plus. The role requires extreme technical competency in taxation, particularly in individual, real estate partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax areas. Familiarity with California and multi-state tax rules, as well as experience with Lacerte and BNA tax preparation software, is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and occasionally preparing complex tax returns, and while the ability to generate new business is not mandatory, it is a valued skill. Applicants for the Tax Partner position at the company should be seasoned tax professionals with at least 10 years of experience and a strong interest in supporting the entrepreneurial goals of others. The role demands a multi-tasker with excellent writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills, who is accurate, fast, and can interact effectively with both clients and colleagues. The candidate should be a proactive individual, able to evaluate and complete tasks without being limited by time. A background in a high-quality local CPA firm, a Big-4 or national CPA firm, or a corporate tax director or VP role is desirable.
