The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all legal aspects of the company's commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development. This role requires a professional with a strong background in real estate law, including experience in real estate financing and property management. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be tasked with providing strategic legal advice, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing legal risks associated with various business initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) from a recognized law school, and be an active member in good standing with the CA State Bar. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal environment is required, with a focus on real estate transactions and commercial contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will possess superior problem-solving skills, legal judgment, and the ability to interact and present to senior executives.
