This leadership role is pivotal in the management of all governmental grants, with a focus on grant and risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with government grant agreements, including progress to deliverables, budgets, and timely submission of all grant reports. This position requires a high level of entrepreneurial skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to oversee the creation and maintenance of systems and procedures to meet compliance standards. The VP will also be involved in liaising with grant administrators from various federal agencies and will lead the Investor Relations team in collaboration with the Fiscal team to monitor and manage grant budgets. Applicants for the VP position should have a Master's degree in a related field and at least 8-10 years' of experience in grant compliance and administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role demands a candidate with a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with considerable judgment and creativity, and a commitment to the mission of the company. Essential functions include supervising the compliance team, keeping abreast of regulatory changes, and promoting compliance practices throughout the organization.
