The successful candidate will be responsible for the executive oversight of the strategic planning and execution of the business systems solution architecture for Biomedical Services. This includes owning the management of the strategic vision, integration strategy, and release planning strategy, as well as providing business application support for all Biomedical Services business systems. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive Biomedical IT strategic plan, collaborating with senior and executive leaders, and ensuring that business system solutions are efficient, effective, and scalable. The VP will also lead a team of 73 employees and project staff, manage a significant annual expense budget, and be a key member of the executive team. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Master's degree in engineering, IT, or business, with a minimum of 15 years of related IT experience in large, complex organizations. A proven track record of at least 10 years in progressive management and leadership, as well as experience in transforming and managing team effectiveness through Agile methodology, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business systems architecture, project management leadership experience at the executive level, and the ability to lead and motivate teams. Experience in a highly regulated industry, particularly in the blood collections or manufacturing industry, is a plus. The role demands a strategic and technical mind with a humanitarian heart, and the ability to make decisions that produce optimal results while being responsive to changing priorities.
