The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, decision-making, and staff management within the Office of Clinical Informatics. This role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, support, and optimization of clinical systems to achieve both clinical and business outcomes. The CMIO will also be a key figure in enterprise change management, data governance, and will collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful execution of the AI strategy and governance. Candidates for the CMIO position at the company must have a Doctor of Medicine degree, be Board-Certified, and have a Master's degree in informatics or technology. A minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical informatics, with 3-5 years at a leadership level, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical knowledge, analytical ability, and decision-making skills, as well as extensive experience in healthcare issues and the integration of healthcare, technology, and clinical data. Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-facility network. The role demands a contemporary clinician who is familiar with healthcare trends and medical informatics tools, and who can drive clinical excellence through the use of performance measures and metrics.
