This pivotal role involves leading the strategy, team, and operations of the direct agent and in-market sales teams. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the merchant services or payments space, particularly the role of agents. Responsibilities include setting and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, fostering key relationships with cross-functional teams, and developing key performance metrics to drive the sales organization. The VP will also be instrumental in designing and implementing motivating incentive compensation plans, as well as ensuring that the sales and support processes are scalable and effective. Candidates for the VP Direct Agent Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 15 years' experience in a similar role within the merchant services, payments, or fintech industry. The role requires an out-of-the-box thinker with a proven track record in building and growing sales functions, strong leadership and people management skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
