The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the finance department, assisting in the development and oversight of the organization's financial administration. This includes maintaining accounting and billing policies, participating in budget management, cost-benefit analyses, forecasting, and securing new funding. The role also involves strategic financial input, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and developing internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years experience in financial management and staff supervision, including at least three years in a healthcare environment. A Master's degree and experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center are preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Responsibilities also include supervising managers, enforcing clinic policies, and participating in organization-wide activities and quality improvement programs.
