The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to improve the treatment of pulmonary hypertension, combining proprietary technologies with new and established medications to enhance precision and clinical outcomes. This role is pivotal, serving as the internal leader and a key liaison between the company, external partners, and regulatory authorities. Responsibilities include ensuring device development and manufacturing meet regulatory and quality standards, coordinating with quality on device-related regulations, and overseeing strategic supply chain activities. The VP will also be involved in drafting key regulatory submissions, leading a device team, and managing global consultants. Applicants must have an advanced scientific or engineering degree, at least 15 years' of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and a proven track record of regulatory approvals in medical devices. Knowledge of global regulatory trends and experience with inhalation technologies and drug-device programs are highly preferred. The role requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time and demands a strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize diverse perspectives into effective strategies.
