The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals and leading the development and execution of a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with business objectives and risk tolerance. This includes identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security risks, managing the security budget and projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards. The role also involves maintaining and enforcing information security policies, and working closely with various departments to integrate security into business processes. The CISO, VP will be the key representative of the company's security program to external parties and will be expected to stay abreast of emerging security trends and technologies. Applicants should ideally have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus, and at least 12 years' of work experience in a similar role. A strong background in cybersecurity and technology, as well as professional security management certifications, is highly preferred. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the alternative investment industry and private equity, and experience with public companies. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, detail-oriented, and strategic-thinking, with the ability to manage a team and resolve issues collaboratively. Strong communication skills, a 'can do' attitude, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment are essential.
