The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading marketing initiatives that drive key metrics such as hours watched, ticket sales, attendance, and fan acquisition. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the product organization to develop and implement a world-class multi-year marketing strategy that aligns with the company's ambitious goals. As a senior leader in the global marketing team, the VP will also be tasked with fostering innovation, inspiring creativity, and ensuring harmony across functions. Candidates for this role should be autonomous, proactive, and passionate about leveraging emerging trends to energize the brand and connect with the audience. The VP will be expected to develop and mentor a high-performing team, manage the marketing budget effectively, and serve as the voice of players and fans in marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will reside within the CET time zone and will lead a team of 10-15, reporting to the SVP of Marketing. Responsibilities include directing the team's prioritization, resource maximization, and budget adherence, as well as leading the development of annual marketing strategies and Go-To-Market plans. The role also involves implementing and maintaining user acquisition marketing programs to increase the company's Monthly Active Users and boost platform hours watched.
