The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of reporting functions, including daily reconciliation review, intercompany cost allocations, and month-end closing support. This role requires extensive knowledge of the accounting and financial reporting process, as well as a good understanding of the securities broker-dealer business, financial products, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with a focus on financial reporting, and possess the ability to work closely with accounting teams from other affiliates. Key responsibilities for this position include acting as the primary reviewer of various reports, responding to inquiries from the Bank's Controllers, and working with different affiliates on cost allocations. The role also involves reviewing and approving accounting entries, providing workpapers for audits, and ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procedures. The candidate should be a team leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both collaboratively and independently. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a Master's or MBA. Professional certifications such as CPA and Series 27 are mandatory, and a CFA is preferred. The role demands a high level of proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with knowledge of analytical tools like Alteryx and Power BI being advantageous.
