The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) managing a variety of commercial claims, including casualty, auto, property, inland and ocean marine, and E&O claims. This role demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in claims management, TPA contract negotiation, and compliance. The VP will be instrumental in providing direction for the company's programs and captives, collaborating with internal and external partners on TPA management and claims operations, and will play a key role in the launch of new programs, including TPA selection and onboarding. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a JD or advanced degree, and a minimum of 10 years' of claims handling experience. A background in TPA management, either by working directly for a TPA or managing a carrier/program/TPA relationship, is highly valued. The role requires a proven track record in effectively managing TPAs and improving claims handling processes, as well as the ability to drive operational strategy and best practices. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in claims management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. The VP will also be expected to travel as needed and to be a solution-oriented team player with a strong relationship management skill set.
