The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities and infrastructure align with the organization's programmatic objectives. This role involves overseeing a diverse range of operations, including the management of a 99,000-square-foot facility that welcomes thousands of members and guests weekly, as well as supporting various programs such as religious services, education, and social justice initiatives. The Chief Facilities and Operations Officer will also be tasked with managing a large team, budget, and external relationships, and must be adept at crisis management, problem-solving, and maintaining a calm and measured demeanor. Applicants for the Chief Facilities and Operations Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of management experience in a complex facility, with a focus on space planning and capital projects. A strong background in people management, particularly in a setting with significant growth, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing external vendors, be well-versed in security, technology infrastructure, and event operations, and possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
