The CTO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving the technology strategy to enhance the delivery of business outcomes. This includes leading technology innovation programs, serving as the authority for IT modernization, and providing strategic advice on leveraging technology for improved service delivery and business practices. The successful candidate will oversee the design, productivity, and reliability of IT platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of application development teams. A critical aspect of the role is to optimize technology across the organization, implementing new technologies that enable the business to adapt, scale, and innovate. Candidates for the CTO position must have a proven track record in leading enterprise transformation and large-scale technology implementation, with a focus on modern practices such as cloud, full-stack development, and agile processes. Experience in leading the adoption of innovative technologies and developing enterprise-wide technology strategies is essential. The role requires a leader who can bring about strategic change, lead and develop people, and is results-driven with a strong business acumen. The CTO will be expected to build coalitions both within the organization and with external partners to achieve common goals. The position is critical-sensitive, and the selected candidate will be subject to a Top Secret national security clearance and a one-year probationary period in the Senior Executive Service.
