The successful candidate will be tasked with building, developing, and leading a high-performing revenue development team that is responsible for driving inbound, outbound, and account development activities. This role is pivotal in the company's efforts to meet pipeline and ACV goals, and the VP will be expected to design and implement the optimal organizational model, processes, and strategies to ensure the team consistently achieves and exceeds business growth objectives. A data-driven, best practice, and innovation-focused approach to team management is essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and excellence. Applicants for the VP of Revenue Development position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years of B2B sales, revenue development, or inside sales experience, with at least 5-10 years in a senior management role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performance teams, particularly in the B2B software and SaaS space. Experience in the HCM/HRIS industry is preferred. The role requires a strong knowledge of sales methodology, a process-oriented approach, and experience in data analysis. The VP will also be responsible for setting up successful operating models across marketing, sales, and revenue development teams, and must have a deep understanding of the go-to-market process and the handoffs between marketing, RDRs, and sales.
