The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and communication of the college's strategic goals, with a focus on continuous improvement and equity. This leadership position involves championing a comprehensive and inclusive communication and feedback strategy, as well as leading and supporting strategic goals related to institutional effectiveness, policies, and procedures. The Chief of Staff will also work closely with senior leadership, including the Board of Trustees, to ensure that the college is meeting its strategic goals and making informed decisions. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Doctorate, and a minimum of 5-7 years' of leadership experience in a higher education environment. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in institutional research, assessment, and a proven track record in leading projects of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of urban education and diverse student populations, as well as knowledge of emerging issues in higher education. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a diverse academic environment and community. The Chief of Staff will also serve as the Accreditation Liaison Officer and be responsible for maintaining the college's compliance with accreditation standards.
