The CFAO will work in collaboration with the Dean and the College's leadership team to oversee the operating budget, manage administrative operations, and ensure the optimal use of financial resources to meet the College's mission and strategic priorities. This role requires the development of long-range financial forecasts, strategic budget planning, and the promotion of a culture of fiscal responsibility. The CFAO will also be involved in human resources, information technology, and facilities operations, and must be a forward-thinking leader with a solutions-oriented approach. Applicants for the CFAO position at the company should have an advanced degree in business, public policy, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in financial planning and modeling, as well as experience in managing human resources, information technology, and facilities operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, the ability to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation and a deep appreciation for diversity. While not mandatory, experience in higher education or a non-profit environment is strongly preferred, and an understanding of budget and resource planning in complex institutions is highly desirable.
