The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a busy department that oversees the execution of multiple high-profile events. This role demands exceptional knowledge of event management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with senior leaders to coordinate and adhere to a busy calendar of activities. The AVP will be tasked with developing and implementing operating protocols for various events, managing budgets, and ensuring strict adherence to financial guidelines. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7-10 years' of relevant experience, and at least 5 years' in a supervisory event management role. The role requires a candidate with proven success in leading teams, proficiency in managing budgets and financial data, and a creative approach to event design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formal and informal event protocols, be adept at vendor negotiations, and have the ability to work with high-profile event attendees.
