Business Classifications B2B About the Role The Company is seeking an SVP, National Account Manager - Alternatives to play a pivotal role in delivering alternative investment products across various key partnerships. This high-impact position is focused on driving the company's strategy to become a leader in customized alternative investments, in line with the firm's dynamic and diversified approach to asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive product, marketing, and distribution strategy for the alternative investment business within the US Intermediary market. This includes serving as the primary executive partner with US-based global firms and US intermediary firms and platforms, as well as working closely with the sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities to distribute alternative products. The role demands a professional with a strong background in the industry, particularly in the alternative investments space, and a proven track record of success in managing relationships with home offices across intermediary channels. The ideal candidate will have 15 years' of direct industry and sales experience, with a focus on alternative investments, and a history of success in the wirehouse, private bank, IBD, and platform/aggregator channels. They should possess a deep understanding of alternative investment strategies and the ability to drive the in-market delivery of the company's alternative investment product suite. Critical leadership capabilities include the ability to drive results, communicate and collaborate effectively, and demonstrate strategic thinking with a commercial orientation. The role requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, who can represent the company as a subject matter expert and contribute to the firm's reputation as a premier asset management entity in the field of alternatives. A strong academic background and relevant industry designations are preferred, and the candidate should be prepared to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 63 if not already held.
