The successful candidate will be a key partner and administrator of the executive management team, with broad accountability for the success of all aspects of the operations and programmatic development of the Oncology Program. This leadership role encompasses oncology business development, clinic operations, budgeting and finance, and strategic planning for oncology programs. The VP will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, maintaining certifications and licensures, and engaging in activities that enhance the productivity and financial performance of clinical services. Applicants must have a Master's degree in business, healthcare, or nursing, and a minimum of ten years of oncology outpatient clinical management experience in a senior-level role, preferably within an academic cancer center. The role requires outstanding human relations and leadership skills, as well as the ability to influence others in a team environment. The VP will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including hospital executive teams, medical staff, and various leadership committees. Responsibilities include providing guidance on staffing, budgeting, and logistical issues, as well as participating in the development of short- and long-range strategic plans for the specific outpatient centers within the region.
