The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and administration of all program activities, with a focus on meeting the needs of low-income residents in the greater Los Angeles area. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of new initiatives, setting and achieving programmatic goals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and professional standards. The VP will also be tasked with managing the department's budget, staff, and operations, as well as fostering strategic partnerships to enhance the organization's brand and support. Candidates for the VP position should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and at least 10 years' of experience in program and operations management. A proven track record of executive leadership, particularly in the management of multi-million dollar contracts, is essential. The role requires strong networking and collaborative skills, particularly with utility providers, government energy implementors, and key energy program administrators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competence in business administration, organizational management, and human resources, and possess the ability to make informed decisions, lead a team, and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
