The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex capital projects, particularly those with a Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) Centric and 5G Data Communications System (DCS) component. This role involves overseeing project definition, planning, procurement, and execution to ensure that all activities are in line with safety, efficiency, budget, and relevant standards. The Vice President, and Project Executive will also be tasked with mentoring staff, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing project documentation and reporting. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 16 years of related experience, with at least 10 years in a management or supervisory role. A background in engineering, architecture, construction, or project management is essential, and professional certifications such as PMP and CCM are preferred. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver results. Experience in alternative project delivery methods and a proven track record of process improvements and change management are also desirable.
