The successful candidate will be part of the Law Division's Wealth Management & Investment Services legal team, providing expert legal counsel and support for the company's trust and custody businesses. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including advising on trust and custody accounts for various clients, such as insurers, companies, and property owners. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be involved in negotiating service contracts, monitoring and advising on regulations, contributing to product development, and managing legal aspects of internal and external reviews, regulatory exams, and legal actions. Applicants for this position should be licensed attorneys with a strong background in financial services law, particularly in the areas of trust and custody. A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm, is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of trust law, UCC Article 9, and related regulations. Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage a variety of legal matters.
