A growing company with opportunities for advancement Company sponsored training, tuition reimbursement, and other learning opportunities Job Description The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the flow of service from the kitchen to ensure all residents receive their preferences in both food and beverages. Works with professionalism and knowledge of basic food offerings and menu content. Keep the restaurant properly cleaned and set up to meet residents' expectations. Trains, supervises, and supports the success of the Service Staff. Responsibilities Owns responsibility for the success of service staff - ensuring Service Staff provide stellar customer service, follow policies & procedures, and complete assigned tasks. Involved in all Service Staff scheduling practices and documentation - ensuring proper coverage. Assist in weekly FOH training topics for continued education. Be involved in various dining communications including compliments, complaints, and or problems with an upbeat and positive attitude. Ensure Service Staff is in proper uniform. Ensure Service Staff team executes meal service in a sanitary manner (sanitation buckets, free of spills, free of food debris, floors swept/vacuumed, tabletops sanitized, sanitizer bucket change out every 4 hours depending on usage. Follow up with lead server to ensure that all side work, daily and weekly tasks are completed each shift/day/week. Assist team members in delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures all products in server reach ins and coolers labeled, dated and rotated as per local county standards. Ensure that server stations are organized according to company standards, under counter cabinets are neat and organized according to proper storage practices. EX: linens stored properly - employee beverages under counter in designated employee beverage station, personal belongings stored in company provided storage areas and or designated areas.. Qualifications Valid Food Handlers Permit Ability to work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, communicate effectively in English to receive food or drink orders and give responses. Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism. Proven ability to understand and demonstrate responsible behavior. Current and valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Must be clear of tuberculosis, verified through either a two-set PPD, blood test, or physician clearance with chest X-ray, as required by Arizona regulations.
