Developing our people is critical to our strategy and fostering our culture of empowerment.A Brief OverviewThe US LBM Senior Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliations. This person will maintain accounting policies and procedures and ensure that procedures are applied consistently.What you will doAssist in maintaining accurate inventory records.Prepare monthly journal entries for inventory-related general ledger accounts.Reconcile inventory-related general ledger accounts at month-end.Compile financial reports related to inventory, such as valuation by product category.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries as neededPerform account analysis and reconciliationsAnalyze financial information and summarize financial statusLiaise with other accounting staff at Corporate or at operating companiesMaintain accounting policies and procedures and ensure that procedures are applied consistentlyExecution of routine or ad hoc reportingParticipate in special projects and accounting research as needed and assignedDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsEducation QualificationsAccounting degree required.CPA or MBA preferred.Experience Qualifications4+ years of relevant professional experience required.Experience with revenue accounting preferred.Public Company experience preferred. PreferredSkills and AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skillsAbility to work independentlyMust be comfortable working in an evolving, entrepreneurial environmentStrong work ethic requiredMust possess "soft skills": conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, and influencing skillsStrong communication skills (including writing skills)US LBM Holdings, LLC, is an equal-opportunity employer.
