Plant Operator

Shift: Rotating schedule between day and night shiftWhat this job involves - The Plant Operator supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems within the facilities. Assists Core team in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas. What is the day to day?Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresComplete rounds with proper documentationTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to building EquipmentMaintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facilityMove up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodationExperience Boilers, Chillers, Compressed Air Systems and R.O. SystemsMaintains a clean and safe work environment.Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the Operating Engineer role.Desired experience and technical skills - RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidaysPC competency to include; Continuum (BAS), Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookMechanical aptitude with experience working in a commercial or industrial environmentAble to troubleshoot basic input and output functionsCandidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.Successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.Preferred Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field1+ years of experience with HVAC systems and controls1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance proceduresExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)#OEjobs
