Quality Assurance Manager

As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will manage the Quality Assurance Program at Plastipak's Jackson Center, OH facility. Through leadership of our Quality department, you will play a fundamental role in upholding Plastipak's standard of excellence and exceeding customer expectations.You WillFormulate and maintain Quality Control objectives and coordinate these objectives with the Production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costsUphold ISO compliance and maintaining quality and safety programs, insuring applicable programs are sustainable and effective (i.e. GMP, OSHA, HACCP, etc.)Govern Quality Control through internal and external audits, data analysis and reporting, documentation and other due diligenceChampion Continuous Improvement Team, and providing guidance and oversight to customers and leadership teamServe as primary contact between the customer and production facility (i.e. serves as the voice of the customer regarding all quality related activities)Manage a team 10+ Quality Assurance team membersServe as a member of the Site Steering Committee, comprised of the site functional leadersYou HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (packaging or plastics preferred)Minimum of five (5) years of relevant Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience managing and developing a team of direct reportsFunctional knowledge of statistical process controls and manufacturing operationsProficiency with statistical software application, such as MinitabDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills at the level appropriate to represent Plastipak to customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and executivesPlastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
