Major Function: This position will be responsible for setting up the bag machine to convert rolls of printed or plain rolls of film into bags of varying sizes and shapes per customer specifications. Primary Duties: Understands how to read the docket at the start of the shift and start of every job including special instructions. Does a complete bag check every half hour. Make sure all paperwork is completed by the end of the shift. This includes downtime sheets updated during the shift. Set up machine order specifications. Do air cannon checks and jaw tests hourly. Knows how to read tickets and match with the dockets completely. Handles jams and machine adjustments during the course of the shift. Complete roll changes in a timely fashion.
