Minimum QualificationsBachelor's and 5 years of relevant research experience (with Substitutions available to account for a master's or Ph.D.).Duties DescriptionThe Research Scientist 4 typically serves as a full member of a research team indicating major responsibilities for all phases of the research project. The incumbent has demonstrated ability to define problems, to perform the necessary research, to develop an appropriate plan of attack, to execute the research plan, to organize and evaluate the results, and to prepare acceptable reports of findings would be responsible for performing independent original research.
