DeltaV/PLC Automation Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Specialist (T) with 8 to 12 years of experience in Emerson DeltaV other DCS systems PLC and SCADA. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain domains. This hybrid role requires working primarily during the day shift with no travel requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our systems and ensuring seamless operations.ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation and maintenance of Emerson DeltaV and other DCS systems to ensure optimal performance.Oversee the integration of PLC and SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DCS PLC and SCADA systems to minimize downtime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system upgrades and improvements.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Train and mentor junior team members on system operations and troubleshooting techniques.Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware and software components.Ensure all systems are aligned with the companys manufacturing and supply chain strategies.Participate in project planning and execution to support business objectives.Provide input on system design and architecture to enhance scalability and reliability.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.QualificationsPossess a strong technical background in Emerson DeltaV and other DCS systems.Demonstrate expertise in PLC and SCADA systems.Have experience in the manufacturing and supply chain domains.Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Show proficiency in system integration and optimization.Display strong documentation and communication skills.Have the ability to train and mentor junior team members effectively.Be proactive in monitoring and maintaining system performance.Collaborate well with cross-functional teams.Stay current with industry trends and best practices.Be detail-oriented and organized.Have a strong understanding of project planning and execution.Be capable of working independently in a hybrid work model.
