Manufacturing Engineer

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the production team supporting continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have a practical and logical approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Plattsburgh, NY Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 What's the Job? Implement new product development and process improvements Ensure Manufacturing Processes meet customer requirements, including Special Process Validation Develop and Maintain Production Floor Layouts Determine and specify Tooling and Equipment required for ramp up or new programs, make recommendations, and determine ROI for Tooling and Equipment improvements Support the procurement of Tooling and Equipment and lead the commissioning on site What's Needed? Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing engineering, electrical rotating equipment (motors/generators specifically) preferred Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Lean, 5S and Kaizen experience an asset Practical and logical approach to problem solving High energy, productive, personable, resourceful What's in it for me?
