With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, National Beef could become your next career move! Competitive Wages and Benefits: Company Paid Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurances401k after 1 year with 100% match up to 4% of contributionMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance effective 1st day of month following first full month of employment with option to select High deductible policy with flex spend or HSAPaid vacation, sick time and holidaysHuman Resources Generalist responsibilities included but are not limited to:Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding hiring practicesAssisting with the hiring, interviewing, and selection process of potential new hiresEnsuring timely government compliance in the areas of wage and hour, EEO/AA, and USCISCoordinating maintenance of personnel filesConduct New Hire Orientation and assist with the onboarding processResolving issues related to benefits and special incentive programsAdministering leave of absence policies, including FMLA, STD, and LOA while ensuring compliance with government regulationsPresenting company benefit programs to new hiresProviding Human Resources support to the facilityManage employee relation issues in a timely manner while maintaining confidentialityInteracting with the local union to resolve employee issuesMaintaining a good working relationship with the union representative and ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining AgreementInvestigating and resolving employee complaintsEmployee engagement within an office environment and on the production floorTracking daily attendanceIssuing disciplinary write-upsExecuting daily and weekly Human Resource functions and activitiesServing as the liaison between employees and managementAssisting with Human Resource applications as neededMinimum travelOther duties as assignedThis is an on-site position.Qualified candidates for the Human Resources Generalist position should possess the following:Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an HR roleBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferredPHR/SPHR certification preferredLabor relations experience preferredBasic understanding of employment and labor lawsStrong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft OfficeHighly motivated and detail-orientedAbility to multitask effectively with strong attention to detailPayroll experience preferredFamiliarly with AS 400 preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be available to work a flexible schedule to support activities on all shiftsApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
