Description & Requirements ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Columbia, MD. The Systems Administrator provides support for the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages (IT) system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to the agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Responsibilities Included but are not limited to: Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Provide in-depth experiences in troubleshooting IT systems. Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Minimum Basic Qualifications: Seven (7) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Additional five (5) years' experience may be substituted for degree. Preferred Qualifications: Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph. Must be a US Citizen Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. The projected compensation range for this position is $102,700.00-$170,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
