Ramp Operations Supervisor

LSG Sky Chefs, a part of LSG Group is the world's leading provider of end-to-end on-board products and services.   Salary: 64,216.00  -  79,796.00 Role Purpose Statement The Ramp Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all ground-level activities related to aircraft catering and loading. This role requires a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The supervisor will ensure seamless operations, on-time performance, and adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. Main Accountabilities Oversees daily ramp operations, including loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies. Manages ramp personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensures compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, FAA, and TSA guidelines. Conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions. Coordinates with flight operations and catering teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of aircraft. Monitors and optimizes ramp efficiency, including equipment utilization and workflow. Resolves operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner. Maintains accurate records and reports on ramp activities and performance metrics. Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Previous experience in ramp operations or a related field. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Valid driver's license and ability to operate ground service equipment.
